Emily Bishop is a member of the firm’s Shareholder Rights Practice Group primarily representing individual and institutional shareholders in complex litigation, including shareholder derivative and securities fraud class actions. She was previously a part of the firm’s New Matters Group where she evaluated factual and legal theories for liability and recovery and drafted complaints for clients.
Ms. Bishop received her Masters of Laws in Taxation from University of San Diego and her Juris Doctor from University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During her time in law school, Ms. Bishop served as the Articles Editor for the San Diego International Law Journal and interned at several boutique litigation law firms. Ms. Bishop earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics and Real Estate and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from University of San Diego.
